Suffolk Public School’s assessment department is offering the parents of special education students the opportunity to retrieve their child’s Virginia Alternate Assessment Program (VAAP) or Virginia Grade Level Alternative (VGLA) binder that was submitted as part of the Virginia Assessment Program for the following school years: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. The binders MUST be retrieved by August 27. Any binder that has not been retrieved by August 27 will be destroyed. If a parent would like to retrieve their child’s binder(s) they should contact Steven Edwards, Supervisor of Testing and Research, at 9256759.

The parent will be required to provide the student’s name, date of birth, and the name of school(s) attended.
